Obituary of Angela Wai - Ling Fung

February 4, 1946 – September 18, 2024

Angela Wai-Ling Fung (nee Wong) passed peacefully on September 18, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.    She was the beloved wife to Kit, her husband of 47 years.  Loving mom to Kam (Kristen) and Wing-Yee, cherished sister to twelve close knit siblings, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews around the world.  Angela lived her life with joy, generosity and with a strong desire to help and heal others.   She was a CHEO nurse for over 20 years before retiring and continued to spend her time working with others in healing and energy work.  Angela was known for her positivity, compassion, and a deep abiding love for her family and friends, always checking in and willing to lend a hand. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 12 pm to 1 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 pm, at Cole Funeral Services and Pinecrest Remembrance, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation or volunteer your time to your favourite charity in her memory.  It would have warmed her heart and made her smile.
