Angela facilitated the spiritual development and healing abilities of many people - too many to count. I met her through Bowen Therapy as we were both practitioners. Post retirement from her nursing career, more than 10 years ago she invited us Bowen therapists to a workshop she'd organized in Ottawa at the Best Western Hotel on behalf of Sifu James Foo. That began years of supporting the learning and spiritual development of James Foo's students. She generously organized many workshops in Ottawa and the very special annual retreats at the Galilee Centre in Arnprior, sent out event newsletters, did marketing, and offered her home as a meeting place for workshops and practice. Angela made a truly exceptional contribution to helping people heal and grow spiritually, energetically, and physically - an angel on earth. Angela's essence is pure love.

Dear Kit, Kam, Wing, and the extended family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I came to know Angela through Dr. Chow’s weekly Qigong practice, and she was a kind and loving woman who always put others first. I fondly remember her introducing me to Sufi James’s practice. Unfortunately, I was unable to meet her in person after COVID. Her infectious smile and deep compassion for others will always be remembered.

We lost an amazing, generous friend and healer, Angela Fung, retired R.N. for over 20 years, who taught since 1997 for many years Dr. Chow Qigong exercise classes at the McNabb Community Centre, Ottawa, which brought blessings to many of us who had health issues or were suffering from injuries. She encouraged us to do these exercises daily so we could help ourselves and gain healthy energy and keep in a positive spirit. The website of Ottawa Chow Qigong includes two of her testimonials of healing through Qi-gong exercises. She studied and earned a degree in Bowen treatment and generously accepted many friends who suffered and needed help and treated them with the Bowen method or with acupuncture, at no cost. A free-will offering could be made into a box which then went toward a good cause. She loved to help and bring joy and relief. She often held open house with great discussions or leading us into meditation; she organized many workshops in Ottawa, inviting various amazing healers who brought energy, positive spirit and hope to participants. Angela, a ray of sunshine, with a great sense of humor, with wisdom and a big generous heart, will be greatly missed. This is in her memory in gratitude. She now has found a happy place. May her husband, daughter, her son be comforted in their loss of this great inspiring personality, their caring wife and dear Mum. My deepest sincere condolences to Kit, Kam, Wing-Yee and family. These past months have had to have been difficult. Also may I offer my condolences to the family of friends Angela created. She touched many lives. She made a difference.
I have been blessed to know Angela. I experienced Angela’s considerable kindness, thoughtfulness, benevolence and generosity. Her generosity included sharing her good cheer, her home, her knowledge and experience. Angela was a good teacher, with patience and understanding. Her smile, her laugh and that great giggle of hers was 1000 watts, lighting us all up! Thank you Heaven for loaning Angel-a to us for the time we shared with her! I remember Angela introducing Sifu James at an event in Ottawa. Smiling, she began with a story where she was demonstrating Sifu's techniques to him. Sifu replied "Ai-ya" and went to Ottawa to help her. Always smiling, always gentle and humble and always willing to help is how I remember her. At the Galilee, the water pipes started banging loudly at 1:00 in the morning and when I finally got up to see.what was happening, there was Angela already out in the hallway trying to fix the problem, a reassuring smile on her face that everything was oKay.
Angela,, your name says it all: You are an Angel. You will be missed but never forgotten. Peace is and will always be with you.

To Kit, Kam & Wing Yee,
Our deepest condolences to you and your extended family.
Your Mom was a bright spot in our Tuesday morning for years as she led us through Dr. Chow's Qigong Practice.
Always full of joy with an infectious giggle, she gave so much of her love and dedication to our group.
We also relied on her to order for us at lunch after the Thursday morning Qigong class as she always knew the best places
for Chinese food in Ottawa. She was kind, caring and always thoughtful of others needs. We will miss her greatly.
