Obituary of Roberta Clare Dupont (nee Hawley)

October 18, 1935- June 7 30, 2024

Roberta passed away suddenly at home surrounded by family and friends in Ottawa, Ontario. Born in Sharbot Lake Ontario , Roberta was the beloved wife of 57 years to her predeceased husband Alfred Francis Dupont, loving and caring mother of Rebecca (Gord Howard) and George (Amy Colbert), and Grandchildren Matthew, Danielle, Kate and Jake. Daughter of the late Beatrice Hawley (nee Dool) and Alexander Hawley. She was predeceased by her Sister Margaret (Keith Ellem), Brother Garth, Brother Murray ( late Betty) and her niece Karen Cronkite-Hawley. She was beloved by many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and their children who will carry on her memory fondly. We also can not forget the special place her cat Moxie had in her life who will go on to be dearly cared for. Roberta dedicated over 40 years to teaching, touching countless lives with her wisdom and kindness. She was also a gifted author, with five published books, and a talented artist.
