Hi Nanny, You were such an inspiration to me that words will never express… The welcome you gave me and my mom, as we entered into your wonderful family will forever be in my heart. The one thing I will miss the most aside from your wonderful heart, is your voice. The most beautiful and soothing voice that I’ve ever heard with such calmness behind it was so amazing. The fact that I will never hear you say my name “Michael” again, will leave a void in my heart that will never be filled… until we meet again. My nanny... so many good memories! Singing by the campfire, chatting over a cup of tea (even in the summer she would say "it will help cool you off if you are hot"), watching Darby O'Gill and the little people for the 100th time, going to all the church functions, doing the puzzles together from the newspaper. I can still smell her perfume and feel her warm embrace. Her memory will live on. Miss you nanny.

A mom that was always there for us. What more can you ask? She started painting in her 70’s and inspired me to paint as well. That is when I really appreciated her work. Our homes are filled with her paintings and her love. Mom never walked alone as our dad was always near. They are one. We take comfort that she will be with their son Bob.
