I was saddened to hear the news of Joan's demise. We went to high school together in Alexandria..... along with her cousin Heather (Roy). Joan was funny, lively and always ready to participate in any event.,,,so it did not surprise me that an Irish Wake is planned. If I lived closer to Ottawa, I would certainly try to attend. I have not seen Joan for many years now but often thought our paths might cross. Yes, I believe that she would have many friends - she was very outgoing.
To Joan's family....shared times, shared memories and shared joys - these special things keep a loved one close.
