I really miss you Dad. I’ve come a long way since you’ve passed. I appreciate everything you did for me and I wish I would have made better use of our time together. Most of my qualities come from you. The last few days have been hard. I feel you watching over me and I hear your encouragements. I am lighting this candle in your memory today and take pride in everything I was able to accomplish because of you. Thank you .
Your loving Son

So sad to hear this news. My sincere condolences to Bob, Evelyn, Shirley and Sharon and all those close to him. Barry's friendship meant so much to me back at St. Rita's where we first met and through our early years at Merivale. I have so many fond memories and am truly saddened to hear this news. RIP my friend. Wayne McNally

The loss of Barry is so sad and tragic, he was a kind gentle soul who cared about others. We have fond memories of meeting Barry out on the town or busy collecting repair supplies at Home Depot to help out an elderly neighbor, he always had a big smile and made you feel like he was genuinely glad to see you. Sharon we are thinking of you and our heartfelt condolences to you and your family, we are so sorry for your loss. Trish and Jim

My sincere condolences to Barry's son and entire family. He is gone, way too soon. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Nothing can prepare you for losing a loved one.
I worked at Statistics Canada with Barry for over 35 years and just came across and watched a CD a few weeks ago, of a presentation I had made for his retirement.
May he rest in peace.

I was so saddened and heartbroken to hear of Barry's passing, he was such a kind and a gentle soul, always smiling and having something nice to say. Living in the same building as Barry, I have had many nice chats with him over the years and I also loved how he decorated the outside grounds by his apartment as well as the interior with all the beautiful arraignments for every changing season and holiday, he made this aparment building feel more like a home. May he RIP. My heartful condolences to his family, may his many memories bring you some joy during this most difficult time. .

I am deeply saddened by Barry's passing.
We met in the 1970s and dated for three years until I moved away. He was a gentle soul and kindred spirit. Yes, we used to go o dancing in those days as well. It was much more fun at the bars in Aylmer and discos in Hull. We were in our teens back then, and our lives were just beginning. I recollect Barry's love of music and fondness for great stereo equipment.
I send loving hugs to his brother Bob (& Evelyn), sisters Shirley (& John), Sharon (& Jack). I have fond memories of you all and your loving, kind mother. Karen Chadwell
