Dear Dad...although our relationship was a long distance one, I am so grateful to have it. I carried specific (good) memories with me from being a little girl like the time I spit milk into your fish tank and you never even got mad at me. More recently, our visit 2 summers ago when I got to see both you and Cathy. I hung on every word you told me about the family. Thank you Dad for loving me all through the year (being able to just pick up again no matter the time span). I love you too and will miss you more than words can say.

Many, many years of looking after all things "family"...is how I'll remember Uncle Sonny (as we called him back in the old days). He attended to people because he liked people and he was liked in return by so many. Always liked to chat and laugh, too. He will be missed by many... The little kid in me wants to add : Say hi to my dad and Granny, our uncles, and aunts and all the rest of the clan for us...
