Dear Anna,
I am very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was a central figure of the great cohort who joined the Bureau in the 70s from right across the country and who never thought we would get old or ill. We had lots of fun times for Peter to reprise at coffee in his characteristic, sardonic way. I can still see him hunched over his desk writing a note in his precise and elegant handwriting.
Deborah and I extend our condolences Anna. We hope you are comforted by many good memories and surrounded by the family you and Peter built.
