Obituary of Margareta Horbik

Margareta Horbik passed away October 18 2024 at the age of 94  at St Vincent hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Anatoly , her parents Josef and Margarete and her three brothers, Ernst, Joseph (Hertha) , Oscar (Gertrude).  Margareta is survived by her sister Siglinde Weigert in Germany. 

She leaves behind her children Larry (Sophie) , Leonard (Marney) Victor, Loretta, her grandchildren Jason (Shenan}, Dana (Chris) York , 
Andy (Lia), Natalie. Great grandchildren Addison and Leah York. And many nieces and nephews Margareta is remembered fondly of a twinkle in her eyes when she was joking or playing a joke on you. 

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday October 23 2024 from 6 to 8 pm at Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Rd Ottawa. 

In lieu of flowers , the family requests a donation to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
