Obituary of Russell Earl Connolly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother, Russell Earl Connolly. Russell passed away quietly in his sleep on October 15, 2024 at the tender age of 69 following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. 

Russell was predeceased by his long-term partner Karen Connolly (nee Robillard), and former wife Sylvie D'Aoust. He was the adored stepdad of Amanda Vossenberg (Justin) and Brandon Johnston for over 20 years, having loved and raised them as his own. 

Son of the late Ronald Connolly (Alice) and Hazel Paquette (nee Le Breton), and stepson of Paul Wurtele (Ann) He was a beloved brother to Alan, Stephen, Kim (Ken Malone), Kathy (Mike Clowater) and Micheal. 

Russell was a cherished uncle to several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Russell was kind, funny, cantankerous, caring, and gentle, and he will be missed by the many family members and friends whose lives he leaves a great hole behind in. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery followed by a reception.
