My sincere sympathies to Don, Jeff, Abbie and families. Rollande was part of our family for many years when she was married to my brother, Dave Eckford (Jeff's father) who passed away in 2000. She was very good to those in need of help during times of ill health, and she thought the world of my parents. Her kindness was never forgotten. May she Rest In Peace.

I met Rolland’s and Jeff when I was just a teen. My mother and Rollande were friends and we gave them our dog Benji. I always thought Rollande did such a great job with Jeff as he was as sweet as could be. My heart goes out to Jeff during this time and anyone else who has suffered this loss. RIP Rollande and we’ll see you on the other side.

My sincere condolences to Don and Jeff and family. Rollande was the glue who kept our little group of former Foreign Affairs ladies together. Unfortunately, we lost touch. I am living in BC now, but think of Rollande, Sheila and Kathy often. Save us a place, Rollande so we might share a meal. a drink and our tales. dianevezina8@gmail.com
