Obituary of Catherine Lively

Catherine Patricia Lively, beloved partner of David Essex, passed away peacefully at the Heart Institute on September 22, 2024, after a short illness, surrounded by family and friends.

Cathie was predeceased by her parents, John Patrick (Pat) and Mary Sarah (Dal) Lively. She is survived by her loving sisters, Terry and Judith Colautti (Ron), and her cherished niece, Samara (Sam).

Cathie was a dedicated real estate professional with Royal LePage for the past 35 years, serving the Ottawa and surrounding areas as a Sales Representative and Broker. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Visitation will take place at Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Basilica, 220 Kent Street, at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Shepherds of Good Hope or The Ottawa Mission.
