Obituary of Richard Arthur Wheeler

July 29, 1955 – June 19, 2024

Rick Wheeler passed away Wednesday June 19th,  2024 in Alymer Quebec at the age of 68. Beloved father of Sarah de Gonzague and Derek Wheeler. Son of Kennith and Phyllis Wheeler. Brother to Jay Wheeler, Janet Wheeler and Susan Wheeler. Grandfather to Eli, Owen, and Reese de Gonzague.

Born in Regina Saskachwan Rick grew up in a military family in a loving household. Rick's family would eventually settle in Alymer Quebec. Rick raised his family and had a full life in the Ottawa area.

Rick enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He would spend countless hours with a fishing rod in hand. Rick loved gardening, chatting with his neighbours and being in nature. Rick was well known for his humour and wit. His laughter, intelligence and presence will be greatly missed.

A Memorial will take place on Saturday July the 6^th from 10 am to 12pm at Pine Meadows Community Association, 100 Pine Hill Dr. Ottawa ON K2M 2T2
