It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of dear Dora. She was a loving and caring person who loved the children she cared for as if they were her own. We will cherish her memory and think of her with loving thoughts. Silvio, Roberto and families, may the many beautiful memories of your dear Mom comfort you always. Dora was a loving, caring woman who I happily entrusted my child's care to when she was a baby. I knew Dora would provide her with the love and warmth she gave to everyone. Even after Dora was no longer my daughter's caregiver, we kept in touch. I spent many an hour at her kitchen table having tea with her and enjoying her home baking, with Shadow hanging out with us. She was always so interested in everything that was going on, it was joy to visit with her. I haven't had much chance to see her in the last few years since I moved to British Columbia, but I loved chatting with her by phone when we could. My condolences, Silvio and Roberto. You were such good sons to her - always helping and giving a hand with the kids. Dora had a lasting impact on the children she cared for and the parents she cared about. Thank you for being a part of my life for over 35 years, Dora. It was a pleasure and a privilege. Rest in peace Love, Wendy

My deepest condolences to Silvio, Robbie and the rest of Dora's family. Dora was an incredibly caring woman. She babysat me over 30 years ago, yet still called me to check in and catch up. It just goes to show you how much she valued the people in her life. I was fortunate to have a few visits with her in my adult years to reminisce and look at pictures she had kept from my time with her as a child. After I moved away from Ottawa a few years ago she continued to call. I will always remember her voice, her laugh, her nurturing spirit, her love for the people in her life and of course Shadow. I will miss her phone calls, the way she greeted me when I picked up the phone and the struggle I had at times to understand her with her still very deep Italian accent. It is with a heavy heart that I will not be able to attend her visitation. Rest easy, Dora. I will forever keep you in my heart and memories. XO

Robby and Silvio, From myself, Roz and our girls we send our deepest condolences in the loss of your loving Mother. She was the warmest lady and every time we came into your home we were greeted with a hug and "are you hungry". I will always remember your mother as a warm, caring and loving woman. Rest in Peace.
