Obituary of Betty Jean Alexander (nee Hill)

November 6^th, 1941 - May 16^th, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Jean Alexander announces her passing on Thursday, May 16^th, 2024. Betty will be honored for the love she shared during her 51 years of marriage to the late Barrie (James) Alexander. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael (Leah), the late Stephanie (John), the late Jennifer, and her five grandchildren, Morgan, Laura, Connor, Adriana and Carmen. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Betty’s life during a visitation at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Sunday, June 9^th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a celebration of life held at the Alexander family home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks goes out to the doctors and nurses who provided their tireless dedication and compassionate care to Betty. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the Ottawa Cancer Units and the Bruyere Saint-Vincent Hospice Centre.
