Obituary of Barbara Anne Cleghorn

Born on September 10, 1936 in Toronto to Howard and Dorothy Mark. Passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2024 with family at her side. Beloved and cherished wife of Andy. Loving mother of Ian MacDonald, Heather (Patrick) Comerford, and Andrew MacDonald. Grandmother of James (Stephanie) and Scott (Vicki) MacDonald, Bailey and Micaela Comerford. Great grandmother Amber, Miller and Ariah. Stepmother of Melanie Wendler, Heather Peterson and Jennifer Goossen. Sister of Lynn Murray and Joan Grimm.

Barbara was a grade 5/6 teacher in the Ottawa School Board, retiring from Cambridge Street Public School in 1996. Thoroughly enjoyed time with her friends in a community book club and bridge group. She had a joyous full life with Andy golfing, curling, square dancing, round dancing, many cruises around the world, summers at the lake and winters in Florida.
