Obituary of Jeannine Thérèse Jarvis (née D’Amour)

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine (Jean) Jarvis, just shy of her 93^rd birthday. Predeceased by her husband Frederick, the recent passing of her son Ron, and her many brothers.  Cherished mother to Michael (Lise Ouellette), Brenda (Gary Christopher);  loving Grandma to Julie (Richard St-Jacques), Adam (Marine Thomas), Chantal, and André (Tania); proud and loving Mémère to Emily, Alexander and Léo.  Survived by sisters Diane (Ron Strittmatter) and Rita (Harding).  She will be dearly missed by family and friends and all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. May her beautiful memory live forever in our hearts.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­the Bungalows staff of the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Centre and the Emergency Team at The Queensway Carleton Hospital for their kindness and dedication.

Family and Friends may pay their respects for Jean and Ron on January 30, 2024, at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, from 1:00pm until time of the service in the chapel at 2:00pm.  A reception will follow.  Private interments will take place at a later date.

In memoriam, donations can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
