Obituary of Cynthia "Cindy" Quigg

QUIGG, Cynthia “Cindy” (née Ricard)

April 1, 1959 – January 9, 2024

Suddenly at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the age of 64 years.    

Beloved wife and soul mate to Michael “Mike” Quigg of Constance Bay, Ontario. 

Dearly loved sister to Ann Ricard, Joe Ricard (Susan) and Anne-Marie Ricard (Rod).  She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.

Cindy and Mike were loving surrogate Grandparents to Ryan and Emily who will miss Cindy more than words can express.  A heartfelt thank you to the Staff, Doctors and Nurses that went above and beyond in their efforts to save her. 

Predeceased by her parents Anatole Ricard and Lula Mary Ricard (née Stevenson), baby brother Michael and sisters Bernadette Cherryholme (Ray), Joan Ricard, Aileen McElroy, Marylou Hyland, and Suzanne Murphy (Dan). 

Friends and family may visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11 am until time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 pm.
