Kee Hong was my first qigong teacher. His quiet, calm, kind presence along with his profound wisdom, and teaching, changed my life forever. I am deeply grateful to have crossed his path, and so very sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to Jane, and his family and friends. I have had the pleasure and privilege of learning Chen style Tai Chi from Master Kee for many years. He was a man of great skills and knowledge of martial arts. Yet he was humble, generous and very patient with his students. He will be missed.
Rest in Peace.

Dear Jane, family and friends of Kee's... please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of our cherished Kee. When I first met him over 25 years ago, Kee made such a wonderful impression on me. He redefined kindness, generosity, humility, respect, dedication, and so much more, in all aspects of his life. His martial art skills and teachings have had an ever-lasting impact on both my personal life and martial art development.
Even when I had not seen him for years, I always felt like we had spent time together only a few weeks back when I had the privilege of seeing him... My fond memories of spending time with him and training under his guidance are timeless.

I met Kee during a workshop on Vancouver Island and was immediately attracted to his kindness, good humour, and self-effacing attitude.
Kee and I were also friends in China and he was a great companion on that trip.
It seems a strange coincidence that I began a full search for him almost exactly on the day that he died, after losing touch for several years.
My heart is heavy with his loss and I will miss him, along with his family, students, and friends.

I was so sad to hear of your loss, Jane. Kee Hong was a man of strong convictions. Dedicated, skilled, and talented. I admire him for his excellent achievements and proud to be his taiji brother. He had many students and helped much to firmly establish a foothold for Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method and Hunyuan Taiji in Ottawa. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to all the family. I was a student of Shifu Kee's for a few years and his teaching really positively affected my life. We went on a group training trip to China as well. He was one of the most humble and caring people
I have ever known. He will be dearly missed by me and many other students. -Mat Ravignat

My deepest condolences to Mei, family, students and friends. Kee was such an open and wonderful teacher who had great taiji knowledge and skills. He had a profound influence and taught us so much about the history, foundation and philosophy of taiji and life. I took this photograph of Kee at the studio where he was teaching us taiji. This is the way I will always remember him ... a true master. All the best ..... Raymond Roy.
