Obituary of Lilian "Nora" Evans (nee Lavigne)

Nora passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023 in her 94^th year.

She is survived by her sister Doris, her children Mary (Peter), David (Pamela) and Susan, and her grandchildren Alex (Sophie), Meaghan (Dan), Nicholas, Jacob, Tony and Olivia who will greatly miss their Mémère. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Nora is predeceased by her husband Joseph (Joe), dear son Mark, brothers Guy and Laurent, and sisters Evelyn, Dorothy, Hélène, and Réjeanne.

Her children invite family and friends to attend services for Nora at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 11:00, with a reception to follow.

Nora was known by many for her long career as a dedicated nurse at the Montfort Hospital. For those who wish, donations can be made in memory of Garde Evans to the Montfort Hospital Foundation.
