Dear Mike, Véronique and Richard,
I was so sorry to hear of Linda's sudden passing. My condolences to your family.
We live in the same community and I first met Linda when we signed up to be Girl Guide leaders for a Sparks unit in 1994 at our local community building. We had lots of fun together over the years, as we moved up branches, particularly on unit camps. Later Linda and I crossed paths at craft fairs in the Ottawa area. It was always nice to reconnect and update one another on what each family had been up to since we had last seen one another. She was a kind and generous soul and will be missed by family and friends alike.

Dear Mike, Véronique, Richard and family,
Roy and I are thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as you remember a dear wife, mother and grandmother.
I first met Linda through Girl Guides. Our friendship continued over the years, when together with our husbands and neighbours we started a small “Investment Club”. Many good times were had over the years.
Linda was a kind, generous and humble person. We have many fond memories of our times together, and feel very thankful to have had Linda as a friend.

I met Linda at the University of Waterloo in 1975 where we were both studying math. A few years later, we met up at the Bellman rink lacing up our kids skates. We both had a daughter and a son, about the same age. Then we joined forces in Girl Guides, together with two other great ladies, through Brownies and Girl Guides. A neighbourhood Investment Club followed, with our husbands, for many years of fun and red wine and good food. I knew Mike and Linda loved the outdoors and I knew how much Linda loved camping from our Girl Guide days. So when the property next to our cottage went up for sale, I gave them a call. When they came for a visit, three deer greeted them, the hummingbirds were buzzing and the loons were calling. Needless to say, 10 years down the road, I have always been happy that I made that call. Linda had a kind and generous heart. We shared many hours over the years talking of our families and cottage life. She will be missed. Carole and John

Dear Linda’s family.
I was so very saddened to hear of Linda’s sudden passing. My deepest condolences to the family.
I first met Linda in 2006 at work. A few years later, she and I took a weekend trip to New York City to take in the sites and see the Rockettes. It was early December and the lights in the city where spectacular.
I found this photo of her outside of Rockefeller Center that I thought I would share.
I will always remember Linda for her kindness.
Rest in Peace my friend.
Sincerely,
Karen Clark

Dear Mike, Véronique and Richard,
It is with great regret that I learned the sad news of Linda's untimely passing.
Linda was a very caring, humble and exceptional person.
Her love for her family was boundless and her pride in their accomplishments was palpable. She especially embraced her new role as a doting grandmother. In those aspects’, she was very similar to her mother Magella.
Although the loss of Linda leaves a big void, I hope that eventually your good memories of her will comfort you and make you smile.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s character Le petit prince said prior to leaving this earth: “The essential is invisible to the eyes.” You will not see Linda anymore, but her lingering essence will continue forever to inspire you.
My deepest condolences,
Chantal Pollock

We first met Linda as a Girl Guide leader and continued that friendship through Nepean Storm soccer games, post-game pool parties at Linda and Mike's and our "investment" club meetings (parties). She always lent a quiet grace to any get together. Her generosity was apparent in everything she did. We will miss her - Tom and Peggy Vice

My sincere condolences to Linda's family. Linda was a Business Analyst working alongside us at the RCMP Fingerprint and Criminal Records Services for a number of years. I always valued her opinion and expertise, as we sought to improve our business delivery models. I'll remember Linda as such a pleasant professional to work with, and as someone we could share a chuckle with.
