Obituary of Mary Alva Dixon

Peacefully at home on Saturday, October 28, 2023.  Daughter of the late Rachael Teresa Beckett and Robert Earol Torrance.  Loving wife of Robert Baker Dixon and mother of Kathryn Joppen (Nigel Bassett), Robert Jed Dixon (Lisa Kelleher) and Linda-Anne Dixon.  Proud grandmother of Ryan Bruno Joppen (Arielle), Derek Robert Joppen, Margaux Giselle Dixon, Alicia and Nolan. Great-grandmother of James Bruno Joppen and Joshua Andrew Joppen.  Survived by her sister Theda Clarke and predeceased by her sister Ethel Dynes.  Her family would like to thank the staff at Park Place for their care.  A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, November 10^th at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
