Obituary of Eva Alice Louise Nymark

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died peacefully in her home at the notable age of 106. 

Eva is predeceased by her loving husband and life partner, Harold, and her son Alan.  Eva and Harold raised their children Diane, Wayne, and Alan - always taking joy and pride in their studies, careers, and growing families. The Nymark cottage, originally built by Harold and Eva, was and continues to be a much loved hub for family connection. 

Eva is survived by her daughter Diane (Norm) and son Wayne (Adele), daughter-in-law Christine, grandchildren Sara (Charles), Alison (Frankie), Christian (Barb), Wellsley (Andre), Jessica (Drew), Whitney (Kevin), and great-grandchildren James, Ryan, Cooper, Ander, Anden, Xavier, Connor, Elle, Parker, Dylan, and Miles. 

A true matriarch, Eva led by example. She had an impeccable decorating and fashion sense, and loved to host gatherings and special events. She was determined in the most polite way possible, and calmly steered her family through the ups and downs of life. She also left them a legacy of outstanding cookie recipes. 

The family would like to thank Eva’s wonderful caregivers, Ann, Melinda, Betty, Vivine, Imelda, and Evelyn for their tremendous compassion, companionship, and love over the years.
