Ron was my articling principal in 1977.
I have enduring memories of his good guidance, patience and kindness. He was a wonderful mentor, a very good lawyer
always prepared, calm under stress and with a wondeful sense of humour. I value my time spent with him.

I began practicing law with Ron in 1979 and continued to do so for most of the next 29 years. For a few years we owned a small office building on Somerset Street where our office was located. Ron was a wonderful person to be with, a good lawyer and a friend. I recall those winter trips to Ron's cabin and the walks through the snow which seemed to go on forever. John Peart

Sad to hear of Ron's passing. I had the good fortune to work with Ron for a few years very early in my career. And I recall a trip to his woodlot to truck firewood back to the city. In both professional and personal dealings he was always genuine, caring, and helpful. A true gentleman and top notch lawyer.
Condolences to the family.

Ron and I shared a section of the Low, Murchison law firm office in Ottawa for a number of years.
I got to know Ron well, as both a colleague and a friend.
As a legal professional, Ron embodied all the best characteristics. Intelligent, perceptive, dedicated, hardworking.
As a friend, Ron was always good humoured, engaging and kind.
Whether as your lawyer or friend, Ron gave his quiet, consistent, supportive presence.
He was also an immaculate dresser.
It will always be a blessing to have known Ron.
Sincerest condolences to his family.
Peter Hargadon, Victoria, B.C.

Dear Maureen and Steve:
Louise and I were very saddened to learn of Ron's passing. (We relocated to southern Ontario a couple of years ago and I only came across his death notice last evening by happenstance.)
I was fortunate enough to have practiced law with Ron for nearly 14 years (1990-2004). There was never a harsh word between us in all that time. He was the epitome of a gentleman. He was kind and considerate. A great spouse, father and all-round family man. He was also a consummate professional,- a thorough and meticulous solicitor who always put his clients first. Small wonder that, after I left Low Murchison to found my own business, Ron continued to be my lawyer and my company's lawyer for many years. I trusted his advice implicitly and he never steered me wrong.
Our heartfelt prayers to you both.
Ron Tomosk was, in the words of late Tina Turner - "Simply the Best".
Yours in deepest sympathy,
Louise and Bill Neville

Ron knew life but when I think of him the two words that come to mind are love and laughter, which I can't say about many of our fellow lawyers. Wonderful man. Utmost respect for him as a person and a lawyer.
My condolences.
