Obituary of Lois-Anne Cameron

It is with sorrow that the family of Lois-Anne Cameron announce her death following a long illness. It was a peaceful death. Deo gratias. Lois was the cherished sixth child of Angus J. and Ida (Foley) Cameron; dear sister of the late Donalda Cameron, Shirley and her husband Gavin Kempton, the late Gerald and his wife Phyllis, Stuart and his wife Ruth and Stanley and his wife Peggy; and beloved aunt of John and Laurie-Anne Kempton, Corinne and her husband Norm Boxall, Blaine, David and his wife Charlene Kavanagh, and Michael Cameron and Christina and her husband Jeff Lucas. Cherished great-aunt to Maxwell and Liam; Blaine and Lachlan; Ruby; and Declan. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. D. Su and Dr. S. Budge for their dedicated care over the years. A graduate of St. Patrick’s College and Queen’s Law, Lois had a long and happy career at the House of Commons, beginning as a Committee Clerk before moving to other positions including in the Table Research Branch.  Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, October 11 from 4p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral Thursday, October 12 at St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church, 4 Perry Street for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
