Obituary of Ioannis (John) Kamarinos

Ioannis (John) Kamarinos has passed at the age of 84, on 13 August, 2023 at St Vincent’s hospital in Ottawa. John was born on Sept 27, 1939 in Reichea, Lakonia, Greece. He was a beloved husband, father and brother and a friend to so many. John dedicated most of his life to the restaurant industry, owning a smoke shop and delicatessen in the 80s and 90s in Ottawa. John leaves behind his beloved wife for 58 years, Evangelina Kamarinos, and two sons Tom Kamarinos and George Kamarinos, his younger sister Eugenia (Tony Langis) along with many nieces and nephews.  He will always be remembered for his love of his Greek culture particularly music and dance and his happy go lucky attitude, always laughing and whistling.  

Visitation for John will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church, 1315 Prince of Wales Drive on Monday, August 21st from 10:00am until time of the funeral service at 11:00am.
