Patricia Murphy (née Crepin)

Obituary of Patricia Murphy (née Crepin)

March 4, 1934 – July 29, 2023

Surrounded by the angels, our dear mom passed into the loving arms of her Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph on Saturday, July 29, 2023

Daughter of the late William and Mary Crepin. Sister to Joe Crepin and Barbara McKay Predeceased by husband Paddy. Survived by her 3 daughters; Eileen (Juri), Kathleen (Rob) and Kelly (John), her two grandchildren; Brennan and Mary and many nieces and nephews. Pat was a loyal and hard-working member of Labour Canada for over 35 years.

Memories and friendships she would hold dear throughout her life. She continued to volunteer following her retirement with St. Vincent de Paul, local foodbanks, afterschool reading programs and her beloved St. Elizabeth’s Church. She enjoyed the company of the Seniors’ Club each Thursday and cherished the important group of women and men she held so dear.

Words are not enough for the gratitude and thanks the family wishes to extend to the caring and compassionate team during my mom’s final weeks. Team members, particularly PSW Marie, Nurses Andrew and Jack did everything possible to keep my mom comfortable and safe. Too numerous to name, you will all be forever in our prayers.

A visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Elizabeth Church, Leaside Ave. (close to Carling Ave and Merivale Rd) on Thursday, August 3, 2023, 11:00 a.m.

In my mom’s memory, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Help a child.

Safe journey mom. You’re on the road again!
