Obituary of Josette Ellis

On Sunday, July 23rd we lost our beloved “Josie”. Josette Ellis beloved wife and best friend to G. David Ellis, loving and compassionate Mother to Matthew (Katie) and Eric (Daniella), proud grandmother of Kasper, Benjamin, Ava and Max, adoring sister to Joseph (Sandra) Lamoureux and Jacques (Diane) Lamoureux, unforgettable Sister-In-Law to Mark (Marni), Gregory (Susan), Michael (Colleen) and Jennifer (Walter), most wonderful Aunt Josie to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews passed peacefully on Sunday morning after a long battle with Dementia.  Josie spent her entire life caring for others.  Whether it be through her lengthy nursing career or her family there was never a doubt of who would be by your side when needed.  As a nurse working at McGill University in Montreal and Carleton University Health Care, Josie made every person feel comfortable, her calm, caring and loving ways were felt by all who came into her world in any capacity.  She had a way of making everyone feel calm and loved when they were in her presence. She will be missed terribly by all her family and friends.
