Obituary of Maria Plescia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Plescia, beloved wife of Luigi Plescia. Devoted mother to late Silvia, Silvio (Bo Plescia), Dino, and Fausto (Carrie Plescia). Proud grandmother to Mathew (Kathleen Kerwin), Andrew (Heather Crooks), Jordan (Deepro Chowdhury), Steven (Sarah Beaudoin), and Eric. Devoted great-grandmother to Theodore, Oliver, and Devish. Predeceased by parents Constandino and Angiolina. Loving sister of Ennio and late Michele. Maria took great joy in bringing family & friends together. We will forever cherish the memories of her warm hospitality, her playful sense of humor, and above all, her deep devotion to her loved ones. The Plescia family would like to thank the staff from the intensive care unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their efforts and care during Maria’s final hours. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road.
