Obituary of Megan Susan Momtahan

Megan Momtahan passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 1, 2023 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In spite of being DeafBlind and multiply disabled, she was a wonderfully wild spirit who inspired everyone who knew her.  

She is survived by her mother Kathy, her father Parham, and her sister Nicole.

We invite you to join us in a Celebration of her Life at  Megan’s Place at the Children’s Place, 310 Leggett Drive, Kanata on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 4pm - 6pm.

This is meant to a happy celebration of her life. Please wear bright summer colours. 

We are grateful for all the support that Megan received throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to DeafBlind Ontario Services or to Roger Neilson House.

Here’s a clip from Megan’s Celebration of Life. Megan’s passing has left a big hole in our lives and hearts. But Megan is also our inspiration to live life to the fullest of our abilities, and with wild and wicked laughter, like she did.
