Passed away peacefully at the age of

95. Bob (as he was known to all) was a loving husband to Elizabeth (Betty-predeceased) for 73 years. Beloved father to Chris (Linda), Geoff, Cathy and Kelly (Sandy). Grandfather to Dylan, Sean and Cody (Kennedy), and great-grandfather to Tatum, Charlie and Spencer. He was also predeceased by his father Albert and mother Elizabeth, and his lone brother Les (Molly). Uncle and brother-in-law to many,

Bob spent 25 years in the Air Force where he served in design, and was a member of the Armed Forces Band Upon retirement in 1970, he continued on with his passion for music by playing piano at various venues around the city, including stints as organist for the Ottawa 67s Hockey Club, eventually the pro Ottawa Nationals team. He was well known throughout Ottawa as a prominent musician. He and his beloved wife Betty spent a lot of their time together traveling, spending time with friends and loved ones, making new alliances as they were both very popular in social communities. Bob was truly a gentleman and treated everyone with care and respect. He was loved by many, right up to his final moment.

A very special thanks to the staff on Amore Wing at the Villa Marconi Long Term Care Home where Bob spent his last 2 years. The care and attention that was given by Marconi made Bob feel loved and appreciated. Also, thanks to Stillwater Creek Retirement Residence where Bob lived happily with Betty before moving to Marconi.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 6th at 12PM. Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Rd Ottawa.
