Obituary of Carmelle Gougeon (née Vachon)

Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2023 at home surrounded by family at the age of 82 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 50 years, Marcel Gougeon.

She was predeceased by parents Philippe Vachon and Albertine Martin. She was the youngest of 14 children. Mother to Brenda, Chantal (Chris) and Nathalie (Kris) and a caring grandmother to Scott, Sydney, Rebecca and Zach.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Paroisse Saint-Rémi, 2821 Dumaurier Ave on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care Ottawa would be appreciated.
