Obituary of Kunda Mukhedkar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Kunda Mukhedkar (nee Bakre), who left us peacefully on February 18th, 2023.

Kunda was a bright light whose enthusiasm and positivity was admired by everyone. She was the loving and devoted wife to her late husband Dilip. Proud mother to her daughters Tanuja (Scott) and Soniya (Garfield). Adoring grandmother to Ketan and ‘Maushi’ (aunt) to many. She dedicated her life to helping others and was a source of inspiration to her friends, family, and community. 

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Kunda’s life at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. Words of tribute at 1:30pm EST followed by light refreshments.  

A private Hindu funeral will be held on Friday. Om Shanti.
