Obituary of Rosslyn Jane Ettinger

It is with deep sadness that Rosslyn’s family announce her sudden passing, in Ottawa on January 22, 2023 after her extensive battle with Cancer.

She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Ronald Speck (Betsy) and Jennifer Vincent.

Also mourning are her sons and their families, David Ettinger (Lesley) Matthew and Ty; Denis Ettinger (Tara) Michaela and Madison; Robert Ettinger (Chantal) Marissa and Mason. Her friend/ex Allen Ettinger as well as nieces and nephews Rick, Brad, Bonnie, Matt, Janie, Mike and Christina also mourn her loss.

Rosslyn was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Jane Speck, sisters Marilyn Speck, Debbie Speck, and Valerie (Doug) Leblanc.

As the eldest of 6 children, family was very important to Rosslyn.  She loved to travel with her family and enjoyed many trips both within and out of Canada. Rosslyn also was a talented painter and had extensive botanical knowledge.
