Obituary of Tony Piscitelli

Peacefully, on November 20, 2022, at the age of 81 after a sudden illness. Son of the late Cuono and Orsola (Mercadante) Piscitelli. Loving husband to Eleanor Palmerio and proud father to Cuono (Kellie Sharkey), Sonya and special grandson, Thomas. He is survived by his brother Joe (the late Margaret Piscitelli) and Marco. He is predeceased by his sister Rosa (Damaso Colasante) and brother, Vincenzo. He will be missed by his nephews, Federico Colasante (Samantha), Ricardo Piscitelli (Vicki Warwaruk), Michael Piscitelli and David Piscitelli (Meaghan) and his nieces Luisa Maalouf (JoJo) Natalie Hartley (Travis) and Lisa Harrison (Brad). A special thank you to family who were by his side throughout his brief illness. Special thanks to the doctors and the nurses at the Winchester Hospital and the Civic Hospital ICU whose care and compassion were greatly appreciated. A service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to participate in a reception immediately following the service until 2:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow immediately after the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or a charity of your choice.
