Obituary of Constance Loveday
Connie Loveday, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, October 29th at age 76 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to Jack and Muriel Andrews on Oct. 5, 1946 in Ottawa Ont. She leaves behind her beloved husband Brian Loveday, sister, Faye Kipp (Bob), and brother, Richard Andrews (Joy), children, Steven Reid (Stephanie), Sally McQuinn (David), Shelley Hunter (Jeff) and granddaughters Cora, Shayla, and Trinity McQuinn, and Ava and Ashley Hunter.
She will also be missed by many close friends, including Sharon Harding, Sherry Franklin, Linda Sheely-Quigley, and her awesome bridge group who have been through it all with her.
Connie, above all else was composed of love and joy. Its beamed from her eyes and her smile, and she shared it with all those around her with a contagious laugh, inherited from her mother. She deeply and fiercely loved her family and demonstrated that love in a million different ways. She never failed to support those she loved and she always made sure they knew how much she cherished them. In return, her love was magnified a thousand times and reflected back on her by her family and friends.
While much has been lost in her passing, far more was gained by those lucky enough to have been part of her life. Her example will never be forgotten.
Friends are invited to visit at the Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp on Thursday, November 3rd from 7 to 9 PM. Service in the Chapel on Friday, November 4th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your charity of choice or the Canadian Cancer Society on her behalf.
