Obituary of Shirley Quesnel (Shipman)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Beloved wife of Gilbert Quesnel (predeceased). Predeceased by her brothers Clifford, Gerald, Maynard, Gordon and sister Dorothy Shipman (Palombo). Loving Aunt and Godmother to many to the extended family’s of the Shipman’s , the Palombo’s and Melanson’s/Quesnel’s.

Shirley was a dedicated Christian always willing to attend every family function as a beacon and a matriarch a true gem of a lady as well as a generous philanthropist to many charities.

A lifelong Bank note employee, Shirley kept these lifelong friendships alive with former colleagues weekly at luncheons. Shirley’s happiest moments always revolved around family moments. She will truly be missed and will forever be held in our thoughts.
