Obituary of Raymond Herman

Passed away suddenly after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on Thursday Oct 6th at the age of
84.

Beloved husband of Francoise (nee Bedard). Loving father of Michelle St.Cyr (Daniel), Anne
Albert, and David Herman. Adored grandfather of Patrick St.Cyr, Brianna St.Cyr, Tessa Albert,
Cameron Albert, Preston Bobbish, Miyawbin Bobbish, Denaiya Bobbish, and Levi Bobbish.
Brother of Gary Herman (Margaret). Son of the late Julius Herman (Elsie). Uncle to many
nieces and nephews.

Ray served as an Aero Engine technician in the Canadian Air Force for 35 years with postings
in Germany and Sardinia as well as throughout Canada (Cold Lake, Comox, Summerside and
Ottawa). He loved his family and never hesitated in participating in his kids and grandkids
activities. He had a big heart, loved animals and always took the time to help out his family,
friends and neighbors whenever needed.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life outdoor ceremony at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road) on Friday, Oct 14th at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow in the downstairs reception hall at St.John the Apostle 2340 Baseline Road (enter at back parking
lot).
