Obituary of Paula Schnessl
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paula, beloved wife of late John of 54 years. Loving Mother to Traudy (Denis), and John (Lori). Dear Oma to Nick (Cathy), Melanie (Mark), Joshua and Jacob. Doting Great Oma to Kaden, Kai, Blake and Emma. Dear sister to Sidi (Joe), late Emma (late Joe) and Ella (late Bob). She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Paula will be forever remembered for being a fabulous baker, cook, gardener, knitter and crocheter. Paula loved going on winter holidays with her sisters and had a very active social life with many family and friends at the cottage.
A special thank you to all of the staff at the Queensway Carleton and St. Vincent Hospitals who cared for Paula for over five months. A heartfelt thanks to all staff at Almonte Country Haven as well as Dr. Bocz for their compassionate care and kindness during the past few weeks.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11a.m. at the Highland Park Funeral Home, followed by a reception. A private inurnment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital and Elizabeth Bruyere Foundation would be appreciated.
