Obituary of Oral Vincent Wright

It is with heartfelt sadness that James (Jimmy) and Jeannette (Jan) announce the passing of their youngest son Vincent (Vinny) on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the age of 64. Predeceased by his brother Mark. Survived by brother James Monte Wright (Kate), nephew Jordan Wright (Micheline), great-nephew Manuel and great-niece Mackenzie. He will also be missed by his Aunt Gail Girotti, cousins Barry and Brian Hughes, friends Lance Nadeau, Frank Thornhill and others. Vincent was a graduate of Carleton University’s journalism program. He was known for his research and writing on new technologies and telecommunications. He worked with many telecommunications industry players such as Evert, Nortel, and NSERC. A special thank you to Roma Harris and Louise Ring for all their support during this difficult time. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Inurnment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Mission would be appreciated.
