Ivy Beatrice Gensell

(née Dean)

November 15, 1924 - July 8, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great Aunt Ivy in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Gensell.   Beloved mother of Trina, Debbie, Gordon (Ninfa) and Rodney (Joshua).   She was also blessed with 7 grandchildren – Todd (Belle), Randy (Sue), David  (Jan),  LeeAnn (Paul), Jeffrey, Lisa (Brian) and predeceased by Steven. She was blessed with  9 great grandchildren whom she adored.  She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews whom we would like to acknowledge personally as she loved you all  and extended family’s children Christopher Stafford and Bradley Sabourin.   She will be remembered by friends and the many lives she touched. 

A Celebration on Ivy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 11am at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.  Interment and reception will follow.

In Lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
