Obituary of Su Hua Dai

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Su Hua Dai, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Dearly loved wife of Bao Mei Zhang. Proud mother of Wendy (Ryan) and Amy. Predeceased by her parents, Chong Gui Dai and Wan Cui Qu. 

Born and raised in China, Su Hua was an educated teacher who inspired many. She and her husband made the journey to Ottawa, Canada, where they worked hard to build a beautiful, full life for their two daughters and the rest of their family. The simplest pleasures in life brought Su Hua joy such as spending time with her family and friends, going on walks, reading, cooking delicious dishes, and gardening both indoors and out. Su Hua lived a life of caring selflessly for her family, friends, and the community around her. She will be greatly missed by many across the globe.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Pinecrest Remembrance/Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, April 8, 2022. The family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear masks. Flowers are welcome.

9:00 am - 10:00 am: Prayers with Buddhist Monks

Starting 10:00 am: Family and friends welcome for Visitation

1:00 pm: Drive-by the Family Home

2:00 pm: Laid to rest at Pinecrest Remembrance

3:00 pm: Reception to follow
