Stephen Kassner was a remarkable and highly respected colleague. Gifted, insightful, intelligent and knowledgeable, of course, but also someone who by virtue of personality, fostered a companionable and healthy workplace. It was a blessing to work with him. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Kassner family,
It is with great sadness that we write this. Davor, Isabella, Maja, Renata, and I send our deepest condolences for your loss of such a vibrant and brilliant man. We have many fond memories of being together at your cottage when our families were young and full of adventure and energy. May he rest in peace and remains in your memories for all times.
