Mom loved sitting in the backyard having a cup of tea admiring the beautiful backyard her and Dad worked hard on. I will treasure those times that Tim and I were able to sit there with her and Dad, and just enjoying the peaceful time together. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren with many toys, clothes and favorite treats. She loved playing games with them and gave them individual attention. She was famous for her shortbread and perogies that we looked forward to eating every Christmas.
I have many good memories of our extensive and expensive shopping trips together. We would walk or take the bus to the mall and have a full day of shopping and lunch. Then we would go home and show Dad the treasures we found.
She was a very kind and generous mother and grandmother. She loved us very much and very well.
