Obituary of Doris Hubert

Peacefully on January 2, 2022, Doris Hubert passed away at Garden Terrace Long Term Care Home at the age of 83.  Predeceased by her loving husband Arlin (2014). Loving mother to Brian (Denise), Kim (Tim), Cheryl (Jeff), and Wayne. Proud Nana to Cory (Alysa), Scott, Shannon, Brianna, Sabrina and Micaela. Survived by her brother Willard Popp (Marion) and sister-in-law Joy Kramer. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Doris married the love of her life, Arlin, on June 30, 1962 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. In 1963, Doris and Arlin started their family and had 4 wonderful children.  They shared a wonderful marriage of 52 years.

Doris worked at the Civic Hospital as a Registered Nurse for more than 35 years.  She worked her career on the maternity ward at the Civic Hospital and loved taking care of all the little babies in the nursery.  She was also actively involved in the community in supporting her children at school activities and as Brown Owl for the local community Brownie pack.

Doris will be greatly missed by her 4 children, 6 grandchildren and many family, relatives and friends. She will hold a special place in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Please RSVP here, space is limited.
