Obituary of Stephen Alsford

Stephen passed away suddenly at home on November 10, at the age of 68, after several years of ill-health.   He is survived by his wife Judy Patterson, his sister Lynne Alsford, his brother Nick Alsford and their families. 

Steve enjoyed his career as a Special Projects Officer and then Website Manager at the Canadian Museum of History. Originally trained as a historian, he spent his retirement conducting research and writing in his area of interest, primarily medieval English towns, which he made available on his website.   

As Steve wished, there will be no public memorial.   Donations in his memory are welcome to the Ottawa Hospital or to a charity of choice.  Online condolences may be made at colefuneralservices.com
