Obituary of Luen Ngai (Philip) Young

With great sadness, we announce that Luen Ngai (Philip) Young has passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 85.

Predeceased by his wife, Lo Wan (Helen) Lee Young.

Loving father of Jimmy (Renée) and David (Jenny); grandfather to Tim, Rachel, Matthew, Elizabeth and Andrew.

The family especially thanks the staff at the Prince of Wales Retirement Home and the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the same location. In person attendance is limited in numbers and as such, the funeral service will be limited to family members.  The family requests that all attendees and guests adhere to all public health COVID regulations.
