Learning of Roberts’ illness and now passing brought sadness to us both...We had lost touch since the passing of Godelieve, his Mother and that is sad. We enjoyed many great adventures, meals, bottles of wine and visits with Robert and Agnes when we lived in Ottawa, and back in Vancouver when he visited his Mom here. He truly had a great pallet for wine and food and enjoyed food with enthusiasm. He was terribly good to Agnes while she struggled with her illness and was a dedicated husband and care giver to her. Years later we had the pleasure of meeting you Karen and we’re glad you both had found one another. We send you our deep condolences in his loss and know how much you both meant to one another.
