Obituary of Vicky Johnson

We are heartbroken to announce that Vicky, our beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed by Peter, her loving husband of 55 years, their children David (Kelly-Ann), Patricia (Justin) and Jennifer (Charles) as well as grandchildren, Ana, Will, Cole, Ally, Ryan, Tori, Carter and Brady. She also leaves behind sisters Diane Lambrick, Judy Wade and brothers David Thomas (Sandy), Barry Thomas (Ruth) and brother-in-law Fr. Quentin Johnson as well as many other relatives and her dog Jessie. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Audrey Thomas.

Vicky lived an active and full life. She graduated from the U of S in pharmacy and worked for many years as a pharmacist providing extraordinary kindness and comfort to everyone she knew. She had a lifelong passion for playing bridge, gardening and spending time at the cottage with her family and friends.

A sincere thanks to her long time caregiver Marjorie, the palliative care team and Dr. Jennings for their loving support and kindness.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
