Dear Marlene, on behalf of my mother Maina and sister Shalini, please accept our heartfelt sincere condolences. Even though we didn’t meet as much in more recent years, I spent a lot of time with Lachu in the early years after I arrived here in the 70s. His sense of humour was amazing and we had so many wonderful times and great laughs together. I remember him and those times very fondly. Subsequently Shalini and then my mother joined me here in Canada, and he became close to them as well. And then my father finally arrived and they became good friends. Marlene, our thoughts and prayers are with you; please be strong. Lachu, dear friend - rest in peace, we will miss your mischievous endearing laughs, Maina, Shalini and Ranjan.

We are saddened to hear passing of our dear friend , and a Sindhi Community's pioneer , and founding member, Luchu. We had few decades of friendship with Luchu and dear Marlene, and have fond memories of them -for their love, affection and concern for the Community, his keen interest in community affairs for years gone by. Quite a few of us were to gather at his dwelling to learn Bridge every weekend and had social tea at his house .He was a avid Bridge player, and had won quite a few trophies. He was kind hearted, friendly, jovial and soft spoken person. We mill miss him for years to come. Our heartfelt condolences to dear Marlene , and his family members may his Soul rest in utmost peace. in God's abode.

We deeply grieve Maamaji (Uncle's) passing away, particularly as we wished to visit him in 2021. We have very good memories of our association as he was very lovable and therefore a favourite uncle, who will be dearly missed. We join in prayer for his soul to rest in peace.!
